Three Palm Software expands acceleration support on new graphic cards

Los Gatos, 1 March, 2010.

Three Palm Software today announced an expansion of its mammography reading software - WorkstationOne™ - to support new graphics cards, in order to enable display acceleration and 10-bit grey-scale when used with compatible display monitors. Specifically, WorkstationOne now supports most of the popular graphic cards used in breast imaging workstations: Barco MXRT series, Matrox Xenia Pro, NVIDIA Quadro series cards, as well as commodity graphics cards that support opengl 2.0 or later.

These new capabilities build on the existing WorkstationOne functionality – which was already a full-featured breast imaging workstation, with an emphasis on efficient reviewing workflow and expert viewing methodologies such as Tabar’s systematic viewing masks. WorkstationOne supports IHE mammography image profile and the display of CAD markers as well as GSPS graphic annotation. WorkstationOne is a software product that can be installed on an off-the-shelf general purpose computer with one or two gray-scale high resolution monitors and one color monitor.
