Three Palm Software announces WorkstationOne 1.8.7

The 1.8.7 release of WorkstationOne is now available for customer installs. Short descriptions of the changes in this release are included in the release notes which are available to all customers, and this newsletter provides more detail for the major new features. This new release will be shown at RSNA 2018 in the company’s booth (7810).
Advanced worklist
Prior to 1.8.7, WorkstationOne could be configured to display no worklist (when integrated with an external worklist), or to show a standard worklist. With this release, a third option of an “advanced” worklist is included.
Dedicated plugin tabs
Prior to 1.8.7, tabs appear on the screen only when the navigation and image screens are physically on the same monitor. With this release, the tabs can be displayed any time a plugin is assigned to them, and the tabs can be on the navigation or image screens.
3D Ultrasound plugin
The simple ultrasound plugin supports 2D and 3D ultrasound but has no advanced capabilities for 3D (no MPR, volume rendering, or ultrasound-specific reporting). With this release, a plugin for 3D ultrasound systems such as ABUS is included – this utilizes a 3rd party package for the functionality.
